I have an extensive Design and Project Management background with over 25 years in the Retail, Leisure, Office Design and Residential Design and Construction sectors. I recently completed an award winning design and build of a low energy home using Passive House principals a detailed blog of which can be found here. I am a Certified Passive House Consultant and have completed the AECB CarbonLite Retrofit training course, allowing me to certify retrofits to the AECB and LETI building standards.

I am a member of the AECB (Association for Environment Conscious Building), and the PassivHaus Trust.

Clifford Design aim to help and support clients on their journey to designing and building or Retrofitting a low energy and sustainable home using Passive House principles. They are able to help at all stages from early pre-planning with design principals through to offering design and on site technical advice towards gaining Passive House certification and the AECB Retrofit standard for existing homes. We recognise that clients come with differing experience of the design and build process and are likely to require varying levels of support. As such clients can use our services as much or little as they require to ensure a smooth Design and Build process.

I am very pleased to announce that my Design and Build Passive House has won the Guildford Society Design Awards 2020 in the Individual House category. It is great to have the project recognised by local Architects and the Council and to receive the positive comments from the judges on their visit.
